Asphalt 8: Airborne
I picked up Asphalt 8: Airborne as soon as it landed on the App Store and really had a great time playing it. But then all out of a sudden, a horde of cheaters stormed the game and every person seems to be driving the most fantastic cars the game could offer. Fortunately, Gameloft detected the problem and took effective steps to punish those cheaters. And now we are having a much better gaming circumstance. At the end of the day, Asphalt 8 offers one of the most exciting arcade racing experience on mobile that I’d recommend it to all racing game fans.

If you are familiar with CSR Racing, a mega-hit car racing game from NaturalMotion, you won’t be foreign to CSR Classics, a follower that owns pretty much the same game mechanics, which are not typical to be seen in the car racing genre. As you may know, the game is not all about racing, as a matter of fact, it’s more about collecting, restoring, upgrading, and customizing classic cars. So if your fancy is related with tending your cars, this game is right up your alley.

I know it must be heartbreaking for Fast & Furious 6 fans to know about the sudden death of Paul Walker. We are never gonna have a Fast & Furious film like any of the previous ones. But don’t forget at least we have a game called Fast & Furious 6: The Game, where you can come back at any time to relive the exciting moments he has left us.

Real Racing 3
You cannot be a real racing fan in the iOS gaming world if you haven’t played any one of the Real Racing series. The original Real Racing game, which was released back in 2009, set the tune for what a car racing game should be like on the touch-screen devices. Real Racing 3, as a successor, further raised the bar graphically and added a lot more playable contents, delivering the most realistic car racing experience on mobile. A must-own on your mobile.

GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience
On the surface of it, GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience bears much resemblance to Real Racing 3. Indeed, both as games that are claimed to deliver the most realistic racing experience, GT Racing and Real Racing have a lot in common – high definition graphics, real-world vehicles, true-to-life driving experience and more. It’s really a tough choice if you have to pick one as the better. But you may have them both on your device, especially as they are both free of charge.

2K Drive from 2K Games comes as a driving simulation game that has the potential of challenging Real Racing on the mobile platforms. But it seems most hardcore players don’t actually buy it, as there are way too many rough technical edges it needs to polish. That aside, 2K Drive is a decent car game offering splendid graphics and true-to-life driving experience.

Do you like NASCAR? Then you may be interested in checking this game out. Big Win Racing is not a standard racing game that you’ve seen above. In this game, you are in command of a team of professional race car drivers, instead of driving on your own. You can customize your cars and your drivers to fit your play style. Just a kind tip: you may have to put some real money in to seize the wins.

Colin McRae Rally
This is a brand new iOS version of Colin McRae Rally, a widely-acclaimed franchise named after the World Rally Championship legendary driver Colin McRae. The game draws much from its predecessor Colin McRae Rally 2.0, granting you a chance you drive a selection of rally cars across several real-world locations to experience what real off-road races are like. It’s not only driving skill that matters, but also endurance and tactics.
