Mobile game developer Gloopsgames (Apoc Wars) has just partnered with Mobage to soft-launch Fright Club for iOS and Android in New Zealand. It is a free-to-play monster card battle that features intuitive gesture-based controls and quirky-looking monster artwork.

For three young monsters in The Village, it’s just another lazy day of spider races and dodging their chores; that is, until they get caught up in a fight between a greedy giant and a candy-stealing witch. Now, with all their friends under a terrible curse, it’s up to you to help our monster heroes battle through the twisted lands beyond to find help and protect their home.

In the game, you are able to recruit, train, and fuse monsters to create a strong team and defeat any enemies who get in your way. Gameplay works like Mobage’s card battle game, but Fright Club is simplified enough. You just use simple, unique gestures to draw glyphs on-screen and unleash powerful elemental skills. At the same time, you can grow and harvest pumpkins to collect crystals and seeds that unlock special skills and powers.

Key Features

  • Unique battle system lets you draw nearly 30 magic glyphs on your screen to activate elemental monster skills and unleash powerful combos!
  • Cultivate hundreds of skill varieties by collecting and mixing different monster types!
  • Grow and harvest pumpkins to accumulate seeds, precious crystals and new monsters!
  • Battle with other players to become the best of the best!
