Enemy Strike is a military first person shooter from the versed shooter developer-Killer Bean Studios, which had made its name by Killer Bean Unleashed. Initially released for PC, it has successfully reach Android devices before long and now it has made its way to iOS platform. With over 250 missions packed with action, 5 playable modes and a dozen plus upgradable weapons, together with a ton of gears, the game has enough to keep you engaged, but shortage of innovations with regard to storytelling and gameplay fails to pull it out from mediocrity.

A brutal alien invasion is threatening the very existence of human beings. As one of the few lucky survivors, you are trusted with a bounded duty by fate-protecting the last vulnerable city from those evil hands. Your aim is crystal clear: to gun down each and every one of the alien brutes whoever dare to venture a step on your land. However the way to reach it can be perilous, especially when they are all well armed and comes in hoards.

Realistic 3D visuals communicate the chill effectively. Overcast sky, gloomy buildings, lifelike giant airplanes and awe-inspiring weapons create a very intense and inauspicious war vibe. The tension is doubled when you see the scratches that your whizzing bullets make on the iron body of military planes, as well as the blood splash of your opponents. This is certainly not a shooter for the chicken-hearted.

The game does not trouble you with excessively complicate control as many others do. The moving pad on the bottom left corner enables you to aim without effort, and the virtual trigger icon on the bottom right allows you to blast whenever you want. When you spot an enemy at a distance, you may tap on the crouch icon for cover and use zoom icon to make a headshot. These all sounds easy and safe, except that your ammo and health are unfortunately limited. You will find yourself out of ammos not far into the game, meaning you have to spend a solid amount of currency throughout the game.

However, even your precious ammos can prove impotent in face of damage-soaking tanks. Don’t worry. Call for an airstrike that will blast them to pieces without fail, though gratuitous airstrikes are rather limited and once these are used up, they come at a high price. The five shooting modes, including Eliminate, Defend, Target Snipes, Survive and Boss Attack, deliver various shooting experience and put you to test in different aspects. As you finish each mission, you are awarded with cash and gold, in game currencies, and meanwhile more weapons, armors and equipment can be bought. However, without sinking into your pocket, you will find the currencies you got through playing is rather inadequate, when considering weapon repairing, ammo recharging and many more.

On the whole, Enemy Strike is a fun shooter, but it does not have much to distinguish itself from other similar titles.
