If you are a fan of strategy games and get used to playing Dragons of Atlantis or Kingdoms of Camelot on your web browsers, you will probably download the mobile App Dragons of Atlantis on your iPhone or iPad as Kabam has just launched Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs of the Dragon worldwide for free.
The browser-based version of “Dragons of Atlantis”, which was developed by Kabam’s acquired studio Wonderhill, won 15 million players and the number of registered players continue growing. The iOS version has added a few new features that differ from the web version we were familiar with and it is a completely different experience on your mobile devices. As we downloaded and played the game for a while, we have found this new app is unable to connect with Facebook or web-based version.
On the one hand, Dragons of Atlantis iOS version has the same gameplay with Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North and The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth. You just build your kingdom with a lot of homes, barracks to get more people to work on your kingdom as well as more troops slot to train troops. With the resource buildings like Farm, Mine, Lumbermill and Quarry, you can use them to train troops and upgrade your buildings. On the other hand, the new version allows you to get Dragon Eggs that will help you expand your empire. The Dragon works like your companion that can learn skills and equip it with gear and equipment.
