Popcap Games confirmed to release Plants vs. Zombies 2 on iOS early this summer, while announcing a closed beta launch of a Facebook version named Plants vs. Zombies Adventure.
As the sequel to the megahit original, Plants vs. Zombies 2 is pinned high expectation on. Though Popcap did not reveal any detail on what the game will feature, we may find some sort of inkling in the Adventure, which will be launched in the coming month.
According to the press release, the Facebook version will feature new zombies and plants, new town-building mechanics, and of course a social integration. And unlike that in the original, the zombies will tread on crooked paths instead of walking straight ahead.
