R2Games, a well-known browser game publisher, today officially launches its first mobile game “Excalibur: Knights of the King” for iOS and Android after testing it about two months in the Canadian Google Play Store.
Developed by LineKong, Excalibur: Knights of the King, commonly known as 王者之剑 in China that literally means Sword of the King, is a free to play MMORPG set in the fantasy world of medieval Britain. In the game, you will be able to play three classes - Knight, Assassin, and Wizard, participate in over 10 major historical battles and play through more than 160 levels. It also supports massive multiplayer online PVP battles and players are able to team up to crawl challenging dungeons.
As recently reported by DoNews, the game has been distributed through 120 channels and its total downloads have reached 25 million, generating about 50 million RMB gross revenue every month. It can be considered one of the best mobile games in China.

The game also has multiple versions for multiple languages and platforms. With regard to the English version, it is mainly responsible by R2Games and another publisher 337.com (ELEX) will co-publish it too.
Last month, we also made a first-look preview on the Chinese version. As the game now officially launches worldwide, we will then have a complete review.
