Arena of War, the first free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons game to come to mobile, is a thrilling 3D battle RPG that takes place in the famous Forgotten Realms. Battling alongside your trusted teammates, you will unlock great powers that can be upgraded and combined to your device.
The Sundering, an historic event that will reshape both heaven and earth is underway and threatens the balance of power between the gods of good and evil. As a proven fearless hero, you will be called upon as a champion to fight on behalf of good against the champions of evil and help set the balance of power before the Sundering is complete.
Adventure out, but, beware the arena, it is as dynamic and deadly as the enemies within it.

Arena of War is a blast to play and hard to put down. It is plagued by pay-to-win with the purchasable rare cards, but the game is totally playable using only the chests you earn from quests. The timer is a much bigger issue and will forcibly stop you from advancing to the next quest unless you wait or pay. Your energy will refill whenever you level up, but the rate at which you do so slows down as your level climbs. You will certainly face a paywall if you play this game for more than a couple hours. It’s really a bummer — I don’t like supporting games with hard paywalls, but I think Arena of War is fun enough to play despite the timer. As I mentioned before, there are other mobile games that use the same combat system, but they don’t have the awesome production values and excellent monster and environmental design that D&D;: Arena of War has. It’s really worth checking out. If the free-to-play stuff proves too much for you, check out Squids which will give you a similar gameplay experience without a timer in sight.
