One week, one time. Welcome to our weekly column Coming Tonight. The idea behind this column is that we give you a snapshot of what new games will be there on the App Store on Wednesday night. Gamers from different countries may see these games coming to the App Store of your country at varied time due to time difference. Anyway, here is what you can expect tonight: Chillingo’s city-building sim game Tiny City, sketch-art puzzle game Roll Back Game and a whole lot more. Take a look below.
It’s Wednesday again, which means we will soon have a number of new games to play. As usual, we will make a long list of tonight’s new iOS games that have already hit the New Zealand App Store. If you love one or more of them, just use your NZ account to download. It seems tonight’s releases are not so big as we covered last week. Anyway, take a look at these games below.
Again it’s Wednesday, the most exciting day of a week for iOS gamers. On this special day, a brand new batch of iOS games will land first on the NZ App Store at 11:00 a.m. GMT and then other stores accordingly. In today’s new batch, we’ve spotted quite a few games that worth your Instabuy, for example, Block Fortress: War, Tanglers Blitz, Devious Dungeon and a lot more. Take a detailed look below.
Inspired by games like Temple Run 2 and World of Warcraft, Running Quest is a unique blend of endless running and action role-playing. Your goal is still to run as far as you can, but you have to counter enemies along the way. There are also a lot of events that let you collect and upgrade items like those in typical action RPGs.
2014’s new big release night is finally here. It’s about time! Follow us to take a sneak peak look at tonight’s big games. As far as I’m concerned, Flaregames’ Royal Revolt 2 is worthy of special attention, Crescent Moon Games’s Demon rock: War of Ages seems a decent reverse TD brawler, Chillingo’s new installment is just a casual duck shooter, and there are a lot more. Take a closer look below.
LINE Cookie Run is a cute side-scrolling endless running game for iOS and Android. Presented by Naver Japan, it is built for LINE, a Japanese social network App like Facebook or Twitter. LINE Cookie Run is nothing more than another Mini Ninjas, or Robot Unicorn Attack. But it is much better than any previous titles.
Codemasters, the veteran video game developer behind F1 Challenge, Colin McRae Rally, Boom! Tank and more, has just released Drive: USA on the NZ App Store, a sign of that it’s going worldwide very soon. When we first saw the title two months ago, it was undergoing a test run in the Singapore App Store. From its name and screenshots, I got to the conclusion that this game is a car driving/racing game. But astonishingly it’s not. And at its core, it is nothing but an endless running game, just with a car at your hand’s control.
