Phosphor Games, the developer behind award-winning Horn, unveiled World War Z, its joint work with Paramount Digital Entertainment.
Powered by Unreal Engine 3, the game is a tie-in of the incoming movie World War Z that stars Brad Pitt and is due on June 21. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, it takes players on the mission to eliminate the undead infesting the whole world. As is always the case in horror-themed games, the player needs to collect whatever weapon and armor available and upgrade them to survive the confrontation against increasingly strong zombies. From a first-person view, the player will be defending a gate, preventing zombies from entering or be flying in a helicopter and shooting the undead from above, which would be sort of like first-person shooting.
This game will be available on iOS and some Android devices on May 30.
