LINE Cookie Run is a cute side-scrolling endless running game for iOS and Android. Presented by Naver Japan, it is built for LINE, a Japanese social network App like Facebook or Twitter. LINE Cookie Run is nothing more than another Mini Ninjas, or Robot Unicorn Attack. But it is much better than any previous titles.

Codemasters, the veteran video game developer behind F1 Challenge, Colin McRae Rally, Boom! Tank and more, has just released Drive: USA on the NZ App Store, a sign of that it’s going worldwide very soon. When we first saw the title two months ago, it was undergoing a test run in the Singapore App Store. From its name and screenshots, I got to the conclusion that this game is a car driving/racing game. But astonishingly it’s not. And at its core, it is nothing but an endless running game, just with a car at your hand’s control. 
If you are familiar with car racing games on the iOS platform, you won’t be alien to Fast and Furious 6 and CSR Racing. Those two were top-charting apps for a decent period of time in the year 2013. These day you may have heard less about them as new loads of games are constantly coming up. Among them is a game called ACR Drift, developed by Eutechnyx and Crooz. 
WIGU (When I Grow Up) Games, is a young video game development group with its headquarter set in Malaysia. The company today released a lovely hospital simulation game where you can live the days of a doctor. 
Sorceress of Fortune, the sequel to 2010 released Sorcerer of Fortune, marks the 5th story of the Fortune Chronicle Episode by Dotomchi. It’s an RPG title infused with match-3 puzzles. Sounds pretty much like typical puzzle RPGs like Puzzle & Dragons and Battle Camp? As a matter of fact, it’s much different from those, as it also includes typical RPG elements like character upgrading, equipment looting, etc. 
The original Mad Skills Motocross game was a huge success when it was released back in 2011. It got millions of worldwide players addicted to its play and more than 110 thousand players’ likes on Facebook. And then a spin-off named Mad Skills BMX followed in 2012, which also made a smash hit. That must give Turborilla, the 8-year Sweden-based video game developer, a lot of confidence to bring an official sequel to it. 
Another Big Wednesday Night. We have already spotted a couple of awesome games available on the New Zealand App Store. Well, let’s see what’s on the list - Chillingo’s Another Case Solved, Foursaken Media’s Bug Heroes 2 and a whole lot more. These games below have already hit the NZ App Store by now, which means you can download them at the moment if you’ve got a NZ account. Otherwise, just wait a few more hours until their release on the US store at 11:00 Eastern. Have fun! 
Square Enix, the Japanese video game tycoon famous for creating the Final Fantasy series and the Dragon Quest series, just released a new mobile game called Deadman’s Cross, which turns out to be a zombie-themed card battle RPG. The game is a spin-off of the previously released card game Guardian Cross.
Again it’s Wednesday, the most expected and loved day of the week. As always, we are gonna cover a whole new load of exciting iOS games that is coming to NZ App Store at 11:00 a.m. GMT and US Store at 11:00 p.m. Eastern. But it tends to be another not-so-productive kind of Wednesday. Thus far, we’ve seen not many released on the NZ Store. Take a look below. The more games I play, the better I realize that it may not be appropriate to simply judge a game from its appearances. Flappy Bird was a most recent example. Its sudden surge was one of weirdest things that’s ever happened in the iOS gaming world. But one thing is for sure, it has its own share of uniqueness that makes it arrive there. In this sense, Naughty Kitties, a recent installment of Coconut Island Games Limited, could serve as another excellent example of how simple gaming mechanics can work magic.
